What happens when I leave a shared car, I'm removed, or sharing stops?

Dit antwoord is nog niet vertaald en wordt daarom in het Engels getoond.

Open Mileage, tap the settings gear (Mileage Settings), tap the car, and use People. Anyone can tap Leave Car…. Only the owner, the person who shared the car, can use Remove from Car… or Stop Sharing….

When you leave, are removed, or the owner stops sharing, you keep a copy of the car and its trips, as of your last sync, in your own cars. Trips other people logged stay in that copy. WitnessWork tells you, for example “You're no longer on Family Minivan. A copy of its trips is in your cars.” From then on you don't see new changes on the shared car.

When the owner leaves, the person who joined first becomes the owner. When everyone else leaves, the car becomes your own car again: “Everyone else left Family Minivan. It's one of your own cars again.”

Leaving needs an internet connection. If you're offline, try again when you're connected.

Deleting your data:

  • Mileage Settings → Delete All Mileage Data deletes your own cars, fuels, and trips, and leaves every shared car, keeping a copy of each. If it can't leave a car yet, for example while you're offline, the rest is deleted and it tells you; try again when you're connected.

  • Buddies Settings → Delete My Buddies Data leaves every shared car first, keeping a copy of each. It won't finish while a car can't be left yet, for example while you're offline.

  • Removing a buddy doesn't take them off a car, but it cancels your open invitations to them.
