What are shared cars, and how do I share a car with my family?

A shared car keeps one mileage history for a car you drive with others, such as your husband or wife, or your family. Everyone on the car can log, edit, and delete its trips, and totals on Home, Progress, and Mileage count everyone's trips. You share one car at a time, so your other cars stay your own. Shared cars are free and work on iPhone, iPad, and Android.
You need Buddies set up with at least one buddy (see “What is WitnessWork Buddies, and why don't I see it?”). Then:
Open Mileage and tap the settings gear to open Mileage Settings.
Tap the car, then under People tap Share Car…. It shows Sharing… while it moves the car and its history.
The next sheet, named for the car (for example, Invite to Family Minivan), lists your buddies. Tap Invite beside each one you want on the car.
Each buddy gets the invitation in the notification bell on Home, along with a notification, and can join within 7 days. When someone joins, you're told, for example “Joe joined a shared car.” If you don't have a buddy yet, the sheet says so: invite someone to Buddies first, then share the car with them.
A car holds up to 10 people, counting open invitations, and anyone on it can invite their own buddies. To see what each person can do, see “Who can do what on a shared car?”
