How do totals work on a shared car, and how do I see only my trips?

Totals on Home, Progress, and Mileage count everyone's trips on a shared car by default. To see one person's trips, open Mileage and use the Whose Trips menu: Everyone, Me, or one person. The summary, chart, trip list, Share Report, and CSV all follow it, and a filtered report says whose trips it holds, for example “Logged by: Anna.” When two people have the same name, the car's name is added, like “Ben · Family Minivan.”

Who logged a trip:

  • In the trip list, a trip someone else logged shows their name.

  • Trip Details shows Logged By, and Edited By when someone else changed the trip.

  • A trip's share text says who logged it, for example “Logged by: Anna.”

  • The CSV gets a Logged By column when it includes trips from a shared car.

Estimated costs on a shared car use the car's own fuels and prices, so everyone sees the same estimate.
