Streaks

Your streak counts how consistently you keep the plans you make. For pioneers and other roles that log hours, each planned day you log any time on adds one, even if you log less than you planned. Days without a plan don't add to it or end it, so plan the days you mean to go out. For publishers, each month you share in the ministry adds one, whether you mark the month on Home or log time. Your streak shows on Home's header and your Profile once it reaches 3. When logging a day takes it to a milestone, like 3, 5, or 10, a short celebration plays; other days, and growth that arrives another way, such as time logged on your watch or another device, make the flame on Home flare instead. When it's about to end, tap it on Home to log the day that's due. To hide your streak, turn off Show streak in Settings → Preferences → Streaks & Badges.

A planned day can still be logged until the end of the next day. If that passes with no time logged for it, your streak ends. When yours is about to end, the flame on Home shows the time left, and a Streak Reminder comes at 6:00 PM on the last day. For publishers, a month can be recorded until the end of the next month, and the reminder comes three days before that month is over. If you can't go out on a planned day, remove that day's plans ahead of time: tap each one on Schedule, tap More (•••), then Delete → Delete This Plan. For a recurring plan, only that date is removed. The day stays planned while any plan is left on it. If you went out but forgot to log it, add the time on that day and your streak comes back. Turn Streak Reminders off in Settings → Preferences → Streaks & Badges. They need notifications allowed for WitnessWork.

Yes, once it reaches 3, if you share it. Your buddies see the number on your card in their Buddies list, not your time or reports. It's end-to-end encrypted like the rest of what you share. To stop sharing it, open Buddies Settings and turn off Streak. A streak that ended stops showing on your buddies' phones even if your app hasn't opened since.

Yes. Open Settings → Preferences → Streaks & Badges and turn off Show streak. Your streak no longer shows on Home or your profile, nothing celebrates it, Streak Reminders stop, and Home's greeting no longer counts days in a row. Your buddies' streaks are hidden too, and yours stops being shared with them. Nothing is lost: your streak comes from your plans and the time you log, so turning Show streak back on shows it again right away, unless it ended in the meantime. The setting follows you to your other devices when sync is on. To hide badges as well, turn off Show badges on the same screen.
